Senior Metering Technician

SENIOR METERING TECHNICIAN/SPECIALIST -DOHA, QATA

CIRCA. £500 pd (contract), £55-65,000 pa (staff) - both negotiable and TAX FREE.

ReThink Energy's client is a an international O&G company. They currently seek a Metering Technician to join their already strong team based out Doha. This position can work on either a ROTATIONAL or RELOCATION basis.

Responsibilities and requisites for this position include:

- Proven record of ability to calibrate instrumentation associated with Metering Systems.
- Capable of carrying out maintenance and Verification of Measuring systems
- Rectifying breakdowns in the field
- Ability to work as a stand-alone metering technician.
- Ability to write and communicate reports and prepare test calibration results.
- Following maintenance and operating standards
- Monitor performance of metering systems and making recommendations based on that
- An understanding of the technical issues involved in the processing of natural gas and crude oil
- HNC/ONC Instrumentation/Electronics. City & Guilds Instrumentation/Measurement. Full Technology Certificate or other equivalent qualifications.

The selected candidate will have strong Oil & Gas sector experience and will come from a background as a Metering Technician and will have a significant amount of experience in this role.
