Senior Megasys Technician Job

SENIOR MEGASYS TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in AUSTIN, TX.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Five (5) years experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting.
- Two (2) year technical degree preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Install, facilitate, and start-up high purity equipment.
- Equipment readiness inspections to include all analytical, process system, and reporting requirements.
- Gas and/or chemical delivery systems hazard and safety reviews.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot gas, chemical or slurry mechanical, electrical and analytical equipment.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- At least five to ten (5-10) years experience in semiconductor environment or similar industry; emphasis on gas or chemical interaction preferred. Specific military experience/training will also be considered (nuclear, avionics fields).
- Must possess in-depth knowledge of semiconductor products, delivery systems, equipment, and monitoring systems, including design theory.
- Able to demonstrate proficiency in new equipment facilitation, testing, start-up and system repair. Must demonstrate an expert proficiency in the areas of mechanical, electrical, and system troubleshooting.
- Higher education required (Completion of 2 year technical degree or higher).
- Candidate must be available to work compressed work week structure (36/48) with rotation between day and night shift every two months.
