Senior Medicare Consultant

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SENIOR MEDICARE CONSULTANT to join our client in Plano, TX or Remote.

POSSESSION OF OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A PUBLIC TRUST CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED AS A CONDITION FOR EMPLOYMENT.

JOB OVERVIEW:

The candidate will support MAC workload transitions, for a six to nine (6-9) month duration. The individual filling this role will support the installation of new Medicare Part B test and production environments, including the installation and support of MCS conversion jobs, will support the closedown of outgoing MAC environments, will establish and support jobs for transferring files with defined interfacing entities, and will provide testing and cutover support during a transition.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Apply Medicare Part B application and JCL, TSO and REXX knowledge to effectively install the maintainer-provided base application and conversion software in new instances for transitioning MACs. Support the set up of batch scheduling for the batch processing cycles for the new environments.
- Collaborate with transitions team members to ensure MAC requirements are addressed during installation, including requirements for report storage and management using CA-View, where applicable.
- Collaborate with transitions business analysts as needed to document MAC interface requirements.
- Apply Connect: Direct knowledge and experience to set up and support file transfer jobs in the batch processing cycle to satisfy defined requirements for data interfaces for the new environments.
- Support troubleshooting activities during shakedown in preparation for the start of user testing. Support the completion of defect root cause analysis to ensure issues are not repeated.
- Apply Medicare Part B application, production support, and batch processing knowledge and experience in support of MAC testing. Work collaboratively with transitions business analysts and technical team members to ensure user inquiries and testing requests are addressed timely.
- Support ABEND and incident resolution as needed. Ensure root causes are identified and permanently resolved.
- Provide production simulation and cutover support as required, including support of simulation and cutover plan development and review, on-call support
- Ensure compliance to EDC technical standards and procedures, including completion of work product reviews where required.
- Work with EDC transitions team members to identify, document and improve transition processes and procedures and transitions lessons learned.
