Job Title: Senior Medical Affairs Scientist

Location: London

Duration: ASAP - 6 month contract

The Role:

Support the delivery of a global Code Compliant system across the company, ensuring continuous high compliance, self-improvement and excellence as per industry standards.
Examination, review and approval of promotional and non-promotional materials and activities to ensure compliance with the ABPI Code of Practice.
To ensure that the quality of work in the approval system is accurate, fair and balanced.
Ensuring high standards are met at all times.
Specific point of contact with the marketing and sales team on Code related issues.
Collaborating with brand managers, and to bring medical and scientific expertise to our planning strategy and help support new product launches.
Have an excellent understanding of country and therapy area specific regulations.
Ability to work in a strong matrix with all local and some global teams (e.g. Marketing and Sales team, external agencies etc.) and to fully understand local market needs and activities.
Support the delivery of a high quality, audit -ready Code review process:
Train the local representatives on disease, products and processes.
Make sure that all meetings, sponsorships and donations carried out nationally and internationally are compliant with the relevant codes.

The Candidate:

Life Sciences Degree
Previous Code Compliance experience
Excellent communication skills with fluency in verbal and written English
Meticulous attention for detail
Good interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
Ability to effectively communicate scientific and medical information and data to a wide audience
Demonstrating an ethical and constructive approach at all times
Excellent analytic skills
Ability to assimilate information quickly and effectively identify and present key messages
Ability to function as part of a multi-disciplinary team across different cultures and countries
Able to confidently communicate with customers and partners
Highly approachable
Results driven
