Senior Mechanical Engineer for Liquid Handling Solutions (m/f/d)

MY DUTIES:

- Technical project lead and development engineer mechanics for liquid handling sub-projects
- Project management of a team of mechanical and fluid dynamics engineers
- Representation of development team in sub-project team
- Define and control interfaces with other system elements
- Work in close collaboration with other disciplines like electronics and fluid dynamics and integrate their concepts and designs
- Translation of functional, performance, regulatory, manufacturing and service requirements into design and review your solutions with the corresponding stakeholders
- Define and maintain 3D CAD models including detailed drawings of individual parts
- Ensuring a smooth design transfer to manufacturing and service
- Ensuring compliance with development process

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor or Master of Science in mechanical engineering 
- Good communication skills in English and preferably German to interact with different stakeholders
- Experience in product development from concept to detailed design 
- Experience in technical project management 
- Experence in development of invitro diagnostic products and liquid handling solutions would be beneficial
- Experience in plastic materials and choice for specific requirements (for example gas tightness) is beneficial
