Senior Mechanical Engineer- Flexible Work Options

Job Title: Mechanical Designers and Senior Mechanical Designers.

Job Description: The role will be part of a talented team of designers and draughtspeople. Working on site alongside the manufacturing site, you will be able to see your products move into development, and will work closely with other team members on both large and smaller scale projects. From day one, you will be given the opportunity to work on large budget projects, and will have the opportunity to really work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to develop new products. You will be given the chance to implement and improve your own project management skills, as each designer is given overall responsibility for a project, with only the truly huge projects being appointed to a project manager. However, you will always have access to both project and draughting support, allowing you to somewhat have your cake and eat it. .

Job Experience Required: You will be an experienced mechanical designer, comfortable working within a 3D environment. Ideally, you will have worked with Solidworks, but if you have worked with other tools training will be provided. More importantly, you will enjoy and have experience with product design, will relish the opportunity to work on interesting, complex work within a team of people who are genuinely passionate about great design. Educationally, it is likely you will come from a degree qualified background as you have to complete FEA and calculations as part of your day to day.
