Senior Mechanical Designer Job

SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGNER needed for a long term CONTRACT opportunity with the possibility of going direct with Yoh's client located in Alvin, TX.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Build Construction Packages including Mechanical Letter of Instruction.
- Develop Indexes, Bills of Materials and Installation Details.
- Provide Design Estimates and Forecast Schedules.
- Provide required designer information for project controls.
- Field work required to produce the design, CAD and project deliverables required for both capital projects as well as maintenance projects.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Minimum of 10 years experience in Petro Chemical piping and mechanical design.
- Minimum of five (5) years in-plant experience.
- Microstation V8XM proficient or proficient with Autocad.
- Knowledge and ability to lead and check larger design jobs 50,000 $ to 4 Million $ range.
- Ability to learn and use Total Station.
- Must be able to meet physical demands of field work (walking/climbing/stooping/balancing, etc.)
