A privately held Aerospace OEM company currently requires the services of an experience Senior Mechanical Design Engineer on an initial 6 months contract to assist them with their current and future projects.

The successful Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for the design of metal, plastic and composite components using Solidworks, resolve technical problems, and assist with the development of specifications and writing technical documents.

Suitable candidates will ideally be educated to degree level and have strong mechanical design experience from either the Aerospace or defence industry and be proficient in the use of Solidworks.

You will need to have or be able to obtain security clearance.
