Senior MDM Consultant - Senior MDM Hub Designer & Developer

Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a Senior MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT (MDM) CONSULTANT who has profound experiencewith DATA PROJECTS as well as with INFORMATICA plus at least 5 projects done for large MDM Design and implementations. For this role profound HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE is required.

This is a contracting & REMOTE ROLE planned to START ASAP until the end of June 2017 with extension opportunities (each 3 months for 3 months until the end of 2018).

Project Background

The project is about implementation of a master data management platform for the logistics department using INFORMATICA MDM HUB, Informatica DQ and Informatica Business Glossary. Initial scope will be for Materials/Products data and later extended to other areas.

Tasks

- Primary role would be as a MDM Senior developer. Primary activity would be contributing to HUB DB modelling, complex IDD design and development work.
- Help design and develop other Web UIs that are needed for the project.

Ideal Profile:

- 8+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE with DATA PROJECTS
- 7+ years of experience with INFORMATICA MDM
- 7+ years of Java development
- 6+ years of DB MODELING and DEVELOPMENT
- At least 5 projects done for large MDM design and implementations
- Experience in HP ALM for requirement and test case maintenance.
- Exposure to design Hub DB model similar to Material Module/Customer/Vendor module of SAP
- Hands on experience with version 9.6 of MDM Hub
- Hands on experience implementing design and integration of complex workflow inside MDM Hub
- Hands on experience with IDD (INFORMATICA DATA DIRECTOR) DESIGN and DEVELOPMENT
- Hands on experience with IDD customization design and development
- Hands on experience with Java user exit development for IDD (Informatica Data Director)
- Experience with Hub and IDD tuning and performance optimizations
- Experienced in dESIGNING XSDS and doing integration for data quality
- Good experience with Informatica toolset (ie Power Center) will be a nice to have
- Experience in other Master Data Management tools (eg SAP) will be an advantage
- Pharma client experience is an advantage
