Senior Maximo Developer Job

SR. MAXIMO DEVELOPER needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S CHARLOTTE, NC LOCATION.

MUST BE CURRENTLY ELIGIBLE TO WORK IN THE US FOR ANY EMPLOYER.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Five or more (5+) years of Maximo development experience
- Maximo EveryPlace
- Maximo 7.5/7.6

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Duke Energy has implemented Maximo enterprise wide to be the supply chain, work and asset management solution for the company. There is an open position is for a senior Maximo application developer to work on a Maximo implementation project.
- The role will be focused on the design and build of a Maximo EveryPlace solution.
- The designer/developer will be required to review business requirements and develop application design documentation. He/she will then be required to build the Maximo components to support the design, support testing via fix-it activities and be part of the deployment process.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- In depth experience with Maximo version 7.5 and/or Maximo 7.6 including development of screens, workflows, applications, integration via the MIF architecture, extensions, etc.
- Experience in large scale Maximo project implementation
- Experience completing project deliverables required to support development efforts, such as the creation of technical design specifications, unit test plans, defect resolution.
- Experience in translating functional requirements and high level design into technical requirements and designs.
- Clear and concise communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work in a matrixed team environment, with employees and consultants
- Proficient in use of SQL and understanding of relational databases
- Oracle database experience.
- Experienced in Java to create custom Maximo extensions.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Specific experience developing Maximo EveryPlace solutions
- Experienced in using TRM Rules Manager with Maximo.
- Experience with business processes and Maximo function in the Utility space.
- Knowledge of work and asset management and supply chain processes.
