Senior Master Data Management (MDM) Consultant - Customization Expert

Our client, one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies based in Basel, is looking for a Senior MASTER DATA MANAGEMENT (MDM) CONSULTANT who has profound experiencewith DATA PROJECTS as well as with INFORMATICA plus at least 5 projects done for large MDM Design and implementations.

This is a contracting & REMOTE ROLE planned to START ASAP until the end of June 2017 with extension opportunities (each 3 months for 3 months until the end of 2018).

Project Background

The project is about implementation of a master data management platform for the logistics department using INFORMATICA MDM HUB, Informatica DQ and Informatica Business Glossary. Initial scope will be for Materials/Products data and later extended to other areas.

Tasks

- Primary role would be as a MDM Expert developer to work on all critical aspects of the project and capable of resolving all client visions.

Ideal Profile:

- 10+ years of experience with Data projects
- 8+ years of experience with Informatica MDM
- 7+ years of Java development
- 4+ years of doing business & functional analysis activities
- At least 5 projects done for large MDM design and implementations
- Experience in HP ALM for requirement and test case maintenance.
- Ability to DESIGN HUB DB MODEL similar to Material Module of SAP
- Ability to train business users & technical team members on new MDM platform
- Hands on experience with VERSION 10 OF MDM HUB
- Hands on experience implementing design and integration of workflow with external tools and also inside version 10 of MDM Hub
- HANDS ON EXPERIENCE with IDD (INFORMATICA DATA DIRECTOR) custom extensions .
- Experience in leading onsite offsite projects
- Highly experienced in DESIGNING XSDS and doing integration with INFORMATICA WSH FOR DATA QUALITY.
- Good experience with Informatica toolset (ie Power Center) will be a nice to have
- Experience in other Master Data Management tools (eg SAP) will be an advantage
- Pharma client experience is an advantage
