A new contract has arisen for a Senior Marketing Data Analyst to work for a dynamic database marketing consultancy which has grown rapidly since it formed 6 years ago, and despite recent market conditions remains on an aggressive growth curve. Our client have a wealth of knowledge and wide range of skills in marketing, statistical analysis and computing. All members of the team are 'data-driven' marketing experts known for cost-effective customer contact management, turning data into relevance and profit.

Experience:

You will be an experienced analyst with a solid background in database and multi-channel marketing analysis.

The ideal candidate must be a dynamic, business-focused team player that will want to be part of this exciting setup and help grow existing clients.

Commercially astute with experience in applying their analytical knowledge to multi-channel marketing problems

Demonstrable analytical experience in delivering high quality work to timescale

A strong working knowledge of a range of analytical tools (eg SPSS, SAS, Faststats) and how to apply them

A good educational record in a numerical subject

An understanding of statistical theory and experience in using of a range of marketing analytical techniques (eg segmentations, predictive modelling, test planning)

Responsibilities:

Ensure client requirements are written into clear analysis/programming briefs

Ensure programmers understand and fulfil requirements accurately, efficiently and within project deadlines, and all output is fully checked and signed off

Ensure projects are fully documented - all details correctly filed for future reference

Plan, manage and - where necessary - conduct client analysis and marketing projects
