Senior Market Risk SSAS Developer - Contract - London

SENIOR MARKET RISK SSAS DEVELOPER - CONTRACT - LONDON

My client a FTSE 100 energy company with offices in London is looking to recruit a Market Risk SSAS Developer on a contract basis. The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on design and development experience with SQL Server SSAS and extensive experience within the Market Risk trading domain specifically Oil and Financial and Derivatives.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

- Professional hands-on design and development experience with SQL Server SSAS.
- Extensive experience with the delivery of data warehousing and reporting solutions.
- Experience within the Market Risk trading domain specifically Oil and F&D.
- Strong to Expert Oracle SQL or ANSI SQL
- Delivery of complex hierarchies within SSAS
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and design patterns
- Experience with large data warehouses
- Experience with configuration and setup of SSAS
- Familiarity with Power Pivot
- Demonstrates evidence of project completion including transition to support in an enterprise environment
- Effective and clear communicator
- Experience with large-scale enterprise wide IT environments containing multiple technologies, Servers and logical environments
- Experience with enterprise project development life cycle
- Experience with Change and Release Management
- Application of best practices to ensure quality and accuracy of project deliverables
- High self-motivation and strong delivery focus

DESIRABLE CRITERIA AND QUALIFICATIONS:

- Datamodelling experience
- Experience within a Global environment
