Role: Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Workload/weekly working hours: 100%/40 hours

DESCRIPTION:

" Perform manufacturing process equipment specification and facilitate its acquisition and expediting (URS, RFI, RFQ)
" Planning and supervision of FAT, SAT, construction/installation activities to ensure adherence to site safety and quality requirements.
" Perform equipment installation, commissioning and validation (IQ, PQ, OQ).
" Maintain technical documentation of machinery
" Set up maintenance plans
" Coordinate design & development of tools, fixtures, gauges and special equipment for manufacturing operations, product and processes
" Ensure manufacturing process stability in collaboration with other functions, and ramp-up of equipment

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

" University degree in Mechanical Engineering, with 5+ years relevant experience.
" Demonstrated track record of engineering project delivery in regulated industry (FDA, ISO, etc.)
" Previous experience of in medical devices or pharmaceuticals manufacturing industries
" Experience with one or more of the following technologies: metal turning, metal milling equipment, mechanical surface finishing, chemical surface finishing, polymer processing, inspection, automation & conveying
" Previous experience with equipment validation
" Languages: English (fluent) & German (business)
" Formal project management qualification/certification, PMP or similar.
" Experience in statistical process development techniques.
" LEAN and Six Sigma
" Knowledge of SAP, Maximo
