Senior Manager- Specialist Services (Psychological Therapies) HMP Pris

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager is accountable for the operational delivery of a cluster of services the services within either the Adult Services or the Children's, Family, Health and Wellbeing Services divisions and provides the leadership, drive and direction to ensure that the Service Cluster sets and achieves its ambitious goals.

The postholder will lead staff to develop and improve services within the cluster that meet all national and local targets, and deliver best quality patient care and experience within financial controls and targets. The postholder will agree the strategic direction and objectives of the cluster through leading the Business Planning process on behalf of the cluster, and translating the Division and Trust's Strategic goals into operational plans and working with Professional and Clinical Pathway Leads to ensure that the development of clinical pathways promotes care delivery closer to home. The postholder will ensure that the Cluster's focus on delivery of performance targets and objectives, and its effective management of staff and finance, will drive the improvement of services, embedding continuous service improvement into everyday practice.

The postholder will be responsible for innovation and improvement, and ensuring their cluster of services contributes to the Trust's position at the forefront of delivering national performance targets and developing services, in partnership with others including service users, in line with health need, commissioning plans and CLCH NHS Trust's direction. They will need to ensure that services within the cluster meet required performance and quality measures
