SENIOR MANAGER, RISK & GOVERNANCE

A Senior Manager with Risk and Governace experience is required to work for our prestigious financial services client based in Swindon.

This is a role for an experienced Senior Manager who has demonstrable financial services experience.

OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR MANAGER, RISK & GOVERNANCE ROLE

You will be responsible for developing, implementing and advocating a culture of risk management across three Executive Divisions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES FOR THE SENIOR MANAGER, RISK & GOVERNANCE ROLE

- You will assist managers at all levels across the divisions to ensure that robust risk management practices are Embedded at an operational level within the business (with specific focus on risk, incident and loss reporting)
- You will ensure that staff at all levels are aware of and manage risk as a core part of their responsibilities.
- You will help to develop and document a comprehensive first line risk based controls testing strategy and framework .
- You will also have the opportunity to deputise for Head of Governance Risk & Control as appropriate at key Risk Committees and Forums.

- Operational Risk
- Qualified Accountant
- Audit assurance and advisory
- Ability to communicate and influence at senior levels
