Senior Manager - Finance Technology Team - Chicago - $150,000

My client, a start-up broker-dealer in the Chicago Loop is looking for a Senior Developer to bring on as their new head of technology. This role involves both hands on development of new applications as well as managing the entire finance technology team. The right candidate will be the most senior member of this rapidly growing firm!

- 5-7 years experience with full lifecycle development in C# / .NET
- Experience coding, designing, architecting
- Experience leading or managing a team
- Solid business understanding of the financial space - Options & Equities
- C#, C++, Java - Knowledge of OO languages
- Knowledge of quantitative programming languages - R & Matlab would be a plus!!
- Expertise in back-end applications - Order routing, Clearing, Execution Services
- Strong database skills - SQL & Oracle
- Experience with a dual environment - Linux & Windows would be a plus!
