Senior Manager Analytical Development Quality Control (QC)

My client is one of the largest life sciences companies in the world. They are industry leaders in the biotechnology field. Based in the heart of Basel, a city that is the gateway right into Central Europe, with an excellent choice of outdoor activities and a wealth of culture that is comprised of theatres, music halls, museums and galleries.

We are recruiting for a Senior Manager Analytical Development Quality Control (QC) (GMP) within a Biological Analytics division for a 1 year contract (80%). You will ultimately be responsible for the microbiological and biological Quality Control of multiple products. Within this you will be empowered to build relations within the chemical operations teams and with external customers, such as various manufacturing units, research & development and operations. Responsibilities:

- Analytical Development Quality Control (ad/qc) deals in the analytical support for the synthesis of APIs.
- AD/QC must ensure that products are delivered according to quality standards defined during the development and in compliance with GMPs and regulating guidelines.
- Responsible for management of GMP Lab and employees
- Responsible for the analytical expertise for defined drug substances or drug products.
- Ensuring compliancy for the transfer of analytical methods to CRO/CMO

Required Qualifications and Experiences:

- Chemist or Pharmacist with at least 5-10 years GMP experience in Pharma Industry
- Possesses profound skills of the GMP/Regulatory requirements
- Strong Background in analytical chemistry
- Membership in professional organisation.

Additionally you will have the personality and disposition to manage professionals in a Matrix system.

Languages:

Fluent in English

German and French desirable.
