Job Title: Senior Managerial Consultant

Job Description:

Driving the execution of Large Group 2014 goals
This position supports the Strategy Execution team and exists to drive the development and implementation of sales strategies across all Sales and Account Management business segments in California, in support of the growth, retention and margin goals of the organization.

Key areas of focus include:

1). Collaborate with business segment and Health Plan leaders to develop, execute and track sales strategies.

2). Convert strategy into action by managing the annual sales planning process and partner with business segment leadership to lead cross-functional implementation teams.

3). Ensure the development of performance monitoring dashboards to track and report the successful implementation of sales strategies.

The primary responsibilities include the following:
Finalize the development of 2014 Large Group and SALT goals by defining business results, initiatives, success measures and goal owners. Gain agreement and align goals with functional partners.
Drive execution and results of key 2014 Large Group goals by leading and facilitating weekly implementation teams and working through issues and next steps with goal owners and stakeholders.
o Develop workplans by reaching out to functional partners and other important stakeholders and flushing out milestones and timing
o Frame up initiatives by defining requirements and project charters
o Develop meeting materials and facilitate discussions to ensure meeting outcomes are met
o Ensure right functional departments are onboard for implementation.
o Track workplan deliverables and critical outcome measures on a monthly basis and develop mitigation plans if deliverables/measures are behind.
o Raise execution challenges to leaders.
Actively participate in large Group strategy group meetings and report out on goal execution status.
Update Large Group balance scorecard to monitor performance of strategy.

Plan agendas and develop materials for implementation team meetings
Frame up initiatives by defining requirements and developing charters
Lead cross-functional teams to execute on initiatives.
Update project plan and gain alignment from internal partners.
Report out status and challenges to Large Group leadership.
Identify ways to mitigate risks.
Update measures on balanced scorecard.

Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Travel required: Some to Southern CA

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA strongly preferred.
Eight years of progressive experience in business consulting, with demonstrated results.
Excellent leadership, project management, and consulting skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of strategic/systems thinking, effective team building, change leadership and results orientation.
Proven ability to determine key business issues and develop effective action plans from multi disciplinary perspectives.
Knowledge of Sales process, consultative selling tools, and underwriting
Demonstrates flexibility and ability to handle complex and multiples tasks
Sets priorities and deals effectively with shifting priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong facilitation skills.
