Senior Management Accountant

Our client, a leading professional services organisation with offices in London is looking for a senior level finance professional to act as the senior business partner to their HR function.

Your prime responsibility will be to provide overall financial control and commercial finance support for a group of functions, giving strategic advice to the business leaders and direction to your team.

Key responsibilities include:

Co-ordinate activities of  and provide leadership and direction to the finance team (6 people)  

Lead the production, analysis and interpretation of monthly management information, annual budgets and regular forecasts on financials

Understand and review the financial results in functional areas to ensure that costs are controlled, trends are understood and business plans, budgets and forecasts are realistic.

Lead delivery for providing financial control for the functional clients.

Provide thought leadership, participate in the debate and offer a finance perspective on new or change initiatives

Contribute to the thinking of functional leadership in the organisation and management of their businesses.

Candidates should be qualified, with strong management accounting, budgeting and financial control experience gained either in a large professional services firm or similar size firm from another sector. Candidates will ideally have experience of providing financial support to senior level HR stakeholders.

Duration: 12 months Fixed Term Contract
