Senior Managed File Transfer B2B Engineer

*MANAGED FILE TRANSFER (MFT)/B2B ENGINEER CONTRACT TO HIRE OPPORTUNITY*

Candidate will be responsible providing MFT/B2B technical guidance and solutions for major IT projects.

Provide problem resolution training for level 1 problems and debug/resolve level 2 & 3 problems. (Requires rotating 24x7 support.)

Required to work with both internal and external customers and must have strong verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to work with and execute a file transfer configuration with the customer.

Requires minimum of 2-5 years of experience with installing, configuring, maintain and tuning of the following IBM/Sterling products: Sterling File Gateway (SFG), Sterling Integrator (SI), Perimeter Server, Connect:Direct (C:D) Connect:Direct Secure Plus (C:D Plus), and Sterling Control Center (SCC).

Comprehensive knowledge in Managed File Transfer protocols: Connect:Direct, sFT/SSH, FTPs/SSL, HTTPs, MQ, AS2/AS3, FTP.

Solid understanding of capabilities of Firewalls, Load Balancer (Specificity F5), Routers, Switches, NAT, VPN, MPLS, and communication circuit technologies.

Strong knowledge of security and compression technologies: PGP/GPG, SSL certificated, SSH Keys, TAR, and Zip.

Experience in designing and documenting file transfer solutions for transmissions meeting all security standards and MFT standards.

Must have knowledge in IBM/S terling Secure Proxy, IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) or Solarwinds a plus.

Knowledge in other file transfer products a plus, IBM/Sterling Gentran, IBM/Sterling Connect:Enterprise, IPSwitch, Cyberark, Axway, Momentum, FileZilla etc.

Banking process as they apply to MFT such as ACH, BAI, SWIFT, EDI, Check21, EPN/TheClearingHouse, PCI or SBFE useful.
