Senior Linux Systems Developer

Senior Linux Systems Developer (San Diego) ASan Diegobased research organization is currently seeking an experienced Linux Systems Developer to assist with web interfaces and modular development. Location:San Diego Duration: 3 Months Rate: DOE Key Features: - At least 5+ years experience in the IT industry - At least 2-3 years experience in the field of Unix/Linux tool development. - Skilled at developing in BASH and Python. - Experience with developing web interfaces - Experience with modular development - Experienced at creating tools for Linux based systems in C++ - Knowledge of both developing an API and developing to an API. - Understanding of the implications of hardware architecture on application performance. - Project Management - Experience with requirement gathering from multiple stakeholders. - International collaboration - Documentation, Architectural Diagrams - Presentation skills, Process Maturation, vendor management and customer service skills. Education / Skills: -Experience with cloud technologies; Openstack, Eucalyptus, Amazon, Rackspace, Azure - Experience with C# under mono - Experience working in a clinical or regulated environment - Experience with Agile project development preferably scrum - Bachelor's Degree preferred -At least 5+ years experience in the IT industry - At least 2-3 years experience in the field of Unix/Linux tool development.
