Senior Linux System Engineer with Market Data Solutions Knowhow (2282)

For a long term project at our client in Zurich we are looking for a

SENIOR LINUX SYSTEM ENGINEER WITH MARKET DATA SOLUTIONS KNOWHOW (2282)

As a System Engineer in the Market Data field at our banking client in Zurich you are mainly responsible for:

- Perl Scripting, application configuration changes
- Application monitoring enhancements including Netagent monitoring changes
- SW Packaging & Deployments
- Documentation
- 3rd level support & analysis tasks related to production issues
- Work together with application developer to ensure corrective and preventive maintenance (3rd level)
- Change management - raise change requests and work/coordinate with

In order to be successful in this role, you need to have the following qualifications/know how:

- About 4 year experience as Linux system engineer, experience and good know how on Perl, Oracle, SQL, MQ Series, performance tuning
- About 2 year experience with Financial Market products (market data solutions like RMDS)
- Good knowledge of system integration work (network, Firewall, MQ Series, ftps, ldap) in heterogeneous distributed environments
- Preferable experience related to SIX Financial Information or Thomson Reuters or Bloomberg market data feeds and respective APIs
- Preferable experience and know-how of market data Systems
