Senior Linux Specialist (3 FTE)

For one of our clients, Rendeck Automatisering is looking for 3 SENIOR LINUX SPECIALISTS.

Profile:
- Resource must be able to support RFS, Projects and BAU activities on an senior Linux level. Mandatory senior knowledge in Linux.
- He/she should be able to Design, Planning, Installation and Configuration of Redhat Linux Enterprise Servers Infrastructure.
- Implementing High Availability clustering, Satelite server, Design, Planning, Installation and Configuration of Redhat Linux Enterprise Servers Infrastructure.
- Configuring Storage, Network and Security on Linux. Configuring LDAP, Samba, DNS, NFS, Firewall, Proxy, Mail, Web Server and ftp Servers.
- IBM Tivoli tooling, P&C, Patch process, TSM, ITM, LDAP and UserID management, Server install, building images, detailed designs, Scripting, Backup policies, performance management and analyses, Linux implementations.
- Continues to automate, standardize and document.
- 3th line support.
- Maintenance, control, problem determination, fail over testing, Disaster recovery.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 8- 12 years of experience in Designing, planning and implementation of Redhat Linux Infrastructure.
- Experience with kick-start, Satellite Servers, provisioning and Deployment configuration and remote installs.
- Strong knowledge of Server hardware, Raid configuration etc.
- Experience in networking and security will be a plus.
- Experience with building automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of Shell, Bash, Perl, PHP Scripting.
- Strong ability and knowledge of building kernels from source.
- Abundant knowledge of KVM, XEN and VMware Virtualization, High Availability Clustering, Satellite Deployment, building blocks and Provisioning, Oracle RAC implementation environment.
- Installation of products on Linux, Troubleshooting and Performance Tuning, Desaster fall back and Administration.
- Good communication Skills, Team player, Working with distributed teams.
- Experience in networking and security will be a plus.
- Ready to work on shifts and on call.
- Knowledge on working with ITIL processes, Change, Incident, Problem management etc. will be a Ability to work with site teams and vendors in remote locations.
- Experience in working with Open source products like Nagios, Cacti, Racktables, LDAP, Tacacs, OTRS, Puppet etc.
- Knowledge on working with ITIL processes, Change, Incident, Problem management etc. will be a plus.
- Candidate should be flexible, able to travel and work under pressured situations.
