Senior Linux Products Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SENIOR LINUX PRODUCTS ENGINEER to join our client in San Diego, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Participate in collecting, monitoring, and analysing performance and capacity metrics in order to better utilize resources and make recommendations for performance improvements.
- Assist in system analysis to resolve application malfunctions and provide problem resolution in a timely manner. Work in conjunction with related business and development teams to provide required services.
- Adhere to change control policies at all times.
- Create and/or update appropriate documentation for all changes made to the environment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- At least six (6) plus years of experience in the IT industry
- At least two to three (2-3) years of relevant experience in the field of Linux system development.
- Experience leading a small project or technical team.
- Experience with ARM, Intel and AMD CPUs.
- Experience with cloud technologies; Openstack, Eucalyptus, Amazon, Rackspace, Azure
- Experience with C# under mono
- Experience working in a clinical or regulated environment
