Senior Linux Engineer (Continuous Delivery, Automation)

On behalf of a leading Dutch financial services giant, we are seeking a Senior Linux Engineer (Continuous Delivery, Automation) for a very long-term contract in Amsterdam.

The Senior Linux Engineer (Continuous Delivery, Automation) will develop standard solutions that enable teams to build and integrate their software frequently and reliable. Said standard Continuous Integration solutions currently include GitLab, Artifactory, Jenkins and Sonar. The Senior Linux Engineer (Continuous Delivery, Automation) will develop a variety of services like API's, scripts and automated LCM processes. My client needs someone who believes in automated testing and continuous delivery.

The Senior Linux Engineer (Continuous Delivery, Automation) will ideally conform to at least 65% of the profile below:

- Have a Bachelor and/or Master degree in Information Technology
- At least 4 year experience with a programming language like Java and/or NodeJS.
- Experienced Linux engineer
- Knowledge of Continuous Delivery and Automated Testing
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum DevOps teams is mandatory
- Enjoys coming up with architecturally sound solutions in new technologies
- Comfortable with collaboration and open communication
- Passion for solving complex IT problems
- Has the capability to improve team performance
- Expertise in Docker is a plus
