Senior Life Actuary + MCEV + IFRS + South of Germany

For my client, a global player in the life insurance industry, I am looking for a Senior Life Actuary. You will work in an international team, based in the south of Germany. My client requires a high level of competence for understanding, managing, proper modelling and monitoring risks at a Corporate Level. To this end, focus an a Corporate level risk model implementation, governance and coordination of the Companies local / central Life & Health models is needed.

To this end, focus an a Corporate level risk model implementation, governance and coordination of the Companies local / central Life & Health models is needed.

Your key responsibilities

* Coordination of development and maintenance of Central Stochastic model in Moses
* Actively support implementation of methodologies and central tools for Life Non Market Risks (LNMR)
* Set, document and monitor risk policies (i.e. limit framework) for LNMR
* Actively participate in Life & Health Global projects with Group Centres

Your qualifications:

* University degree in actuarial, financial economics or other comparable technical degree
* Min. 6 years experience in risk management or actuarial Life & Health field
* Good understanding of the principles that underpin risk based supervision, such as Basel II, Solvency II, Swiss Solvency Test, or other standards
* Good knowledge of principle-based valuation such as Market Consistent Embedded Value (MCEV), IFRS, and Economic Valuation for Life insurance
* Proven proficiency in actuarial modelling tool (Moses or Prophet)
* Excellent written and spoken English language
