A leading public sector organisation based in London are looking for a Senior Lawyer to join their team on a 9 month contract.
The successful Lawyer will have experience working in a Local Authority setting and working within their property department.
This placement is for a Senior Property/Planning Lawyer to undertake work in connection with CPO, planning and property legal matters relating to regeneration projects and initiatives and other property transactions (leasehold and freehold).
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of compulsory purchase (including rights of light), property and conveyancing, highways and other related regeneration knowledge and undertake work at a senior level. The successful candidate will have a high level of drafting skills and have the ability to provide detailed legal advice in reports for a varied audience, including Cabinet and other committees.
There will be a number of projects underway at the same time requiring excellent time management and organisation skills.
