Senior Land Surveyor

SENIOR LAND SURVEYOR

Tangent are currently looking for a Senior Land Surveyor to work for our client, a large infrastructure organisation, based in London.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Surveyor to join the Survey team in an office based role to support major junction re-modelling, installation of crossovers/scissors and plain line renewals.
The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the production and delivery of verification, tamping and as-built surveys to the delivery/installation teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities include:
The production of high quality and timely surveys from data collected by the Track Surveyors.
Computation and validation of survey control networks.
Validation of track design against verifications surveys.
Check and review setting out, tamping and as built before issue.
Creation of surface models for use with 3D machine control

PREFERABLE KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

- Graduate or HND with experience, preferably 2-3 years as a Land Surveyor
- SCC
- Starnet
- MX Road/Rail
- Bentley Railtrack
- Knowledge of railway environment
- Construction experience

Rates around £325 per day
