Senior Labelling Specialist

1. ROLE DESCRIPTION

Understand and analyse the needs of the business.  Work on projects to define, shape, review and validate requirements to Change processes, products and service offerings.  Evaluate and recommend solutions to address the identified business requirements to drive business improvements

2. CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

The Senior Labelling Specialist is responsible for the development, harmonization, establishment, and maintenance of labeling harmonization management policies, processes, procedures and controls for our members.

Ensure that performance and quality conforms to established standards. Performs essential records management functions and improves existing operations.

Provide labeling regulatory support to assure that our organization products are in full compliance with international regulations.

This position operates independently under limited supervision and utilizing in-depth knowledge from experience to perform the functions of the job. 

3.  ESSENTIAL QUALITIES:

- 5 year plus experience in with labeling standardization
- Experience in harmonization of labeling
- Good English language skills
- Experience with customs processes
- Experience with post services, express or parcel services
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Problem solving
- Good presentational skills
- Proficient with MS Office products, specifically Office and Visio

4. DESIRABLE QUIALITIES

- Degree level or equivalent
- Provides leadership, supervision and assistance with training individuals.
- High quality interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Good attention to detail
