Senior JEE Java Designer/Developers

The Senior JEE Designer/Developer is competent to work on complex projects and applies an in-depth knowledge of engineering/automation concepts, practices and procedures. The Senior Java Designer/Developer provides technical expertise in design and development of the application components. This technical resource is responsible for the design and development of components of a complex JEE and stand-alone applications hosted on a AIX and IBMi platform.

EXPERIENCE

At least 10 years of I/T experience in development on a variety of platforms and Java technologies.
At least 5 years of design and development experience in object-oriented JEE applications, preferably WebSphere.
Hands-on experience with design patterns (eg Domain Driven Design, Façade, Singleton, etc )
Hands-on experience using modelling tools (Enterprise architect, Rational,...)
Strong communication and coaching skills.
Experience working in a matrixed environment and projects that are geographically dispersed.
