Senior Javascript Developer Job

Yoh has an immediate contract opportunity for a SENIOR JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER to join our client in Center City Philadelphia, PA.

Job Responsibilities:
- Looking for a talented Front End JavaScript Web Developer to help deliver engaging and highly usable HTML/CSS/JavaScript applications for various projects in the human resources industry.
- The right candidate should be looking to contribute at a company that is fast-paced, with many opportunities to work with cutting edge technologies and provide meaningful input.
- Mockup new features and applications for collaborative review with stakeholders and developers.
- Convert business and system requirements into UI designs using JavaScript, CSS, HTML, jQuery, Backbone, Marionette, and other modern Front End libraries.
- Code review.
- Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites.
- Create visual concepts that work within company's marketing guidelines.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings to evaluate technologies and present proposed architecture to team.
- Investigate new UI technologies and recommend technical direction for UI technologies.

Required Job Qualifications:
- Four (4) + years of experience designing, developing, testing accessible, compatible and standards compliant web-based applications using standards-based HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
- Experience with JavaScript application development using Backbone, Angular, Marionette (or similar libraries/frameworks), the MVC pattern, object-oriented programming, and client-side build processes.
- Strong user-interface design skills.
- Ability to rapidly iterate through prototypes.
- Solid understanding of current web standards, mobile trends and technologies.
- Proficient/expert in hand-coding HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS (HTML5 and CSS3 desirable).
- Experience with Bootstrap, jQuery UI, and the jQuery ecosystem.
- Experience designing and debugging web sites in a multi-browser environment.
- Ability to integrate Front End with Back End technologies using AJAX, JSON, and SOAP.
- Experience with software development life cycle methodologies and practices.
- Proactive self-starter with the ability to work one-on-one with other functional groups such as Back End and services development, QA and product management.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments.
- Experience with web-based mobile application development.
- Previous development experience with Java, .Net, or PHP preferred.
- Experience should include interactive prototypes/skeletons in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and complex client-side JavaScript applications.
