Senior Java/Tibco Contractor - Dublin

SENIOR JAVA /TIBCO CONTRACTOR - DAILY RATES - DUBLIN

This is a 6 month contract initially with a view to extension.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 8 years development experience.
- J2EE programming experience is necessary.
- Experience in developing for a Service Oriented Architecture is required.
- Flexibility to work on complex highly scalable and mission-critical enterprise projects with international scope.
- The candidate must demonstrate understanding of Oracle databases, WebSphere
- Experience of working in a Software as a Service environment would be beneficial.

SKILLS:

Required skills:

- Web Services, Web Services security, SOA, Design Patterns.
- Java, J2EE, Spring/Struts, SQL
- WebSphere Application Servers.
- TIBCO BusinessWork/EMS
- Knowledge of one or more of MQ Series/JMS/TIBCO Messaging.
- Good Analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

Desirable skills:

- Experience with continuous integration and iterative development methodology is highly       desirable.
- Hibernate.
