Senior Java Software Engineer

Our client is among the world's leading financial services seeking an expert JAVA/J2EE DEVELOPER with an emphasis on identity Assurance, Security and System Programming. This candidate will be developing integrated connectors for Oracle Identity Manager and developing workflow and access policies, Unit testing, Code Acceptance and reviews.

The Java/J2EE Developer will be working with the team responsible for a holistic re-engineering of the corporate Identity and Access Management solution with leading edge technologies, the mission of offering a robust set of IAM services to extensive lines of business, their existing Applications and their Applications in development, with goals of business enablement, operational efficiencies, security and compliance.

Must have skills: Oracle Identity Manager 11G, J2EE development experience, Web Services, PowerShell, Subversion Clearquest, Applied crypto- SSLTLS, WebLogic/Oracle, Oracle SOA Suite, and BPL; Lead experience; 10+ years' experience required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Performing systems analysis working with technology architects and Business Analyst to research technology options and proposing solutions consistent with strategy and architecture principles
- Performing system, integration and software designs and produce design specification
- Leading one or more development projects, working with project manages to provide stable development estimation, planning and status tracking
- Developing, re-engineering, testing and debugging software codes
- Performing system integration with other Visa development teams and 3rd party teams to develop and deploy end to end identity and access management solution
- Working closely with QA team to ensure sufficient test coverage and quality of the software
- 3rd line production support, analysing and solving high priority issues reported from production system

QUALIFICATIONS

- More than 7 years of working experience as Developer/Architect in a large IT company environment or a product development company
- 8+ years of development experience using Java, J2EE, ASP.NET, and HTML
- Hands-on Test Automation experience required
- Solid understanding and practical experience of software development life cycle
- Strong analytical, problem solving and debugging skill
- J2EE and J2EE Application Server expertise required (Java, JSP, JMS, Servlets, Web Services)
- Security (XML, WS-Security, SSL)
- RDMS, Oracle DB, SQL programming
- Development Tools (IDE/Eclipse, SVN, Rational, ANT)
- OOA/OOD, Design Patterns, Data modelling and schema design
- Various OS (Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX)
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in engineering or development organizations where the individual performed complex systems analysis, design and software development and an emphasis on security
- At least one Scripting language
- Application performance tuning and optimization skills
- Preference to candidates with experience in Identity Assurance (IAM, PKI, Strong Authentication, Smartcards) and security
- Experience with Oracle Application Development Framework, Oracle Identity Manager, Weblogic Application Server highly desired
- Knowledge of Active Directory and LDAP highly desired
- Excellent spoken and written communication, collaboration skills required
- Ability to pay attention to detail, and to work independently with minimum supervision
- CISSP certification a plus
- Nice to have: experience leading/supervising a team; Identity Access Management, Federation, WX Security, Unix and Windows security, and SPLUNK development

Duration of assignment is expected to be 1 year.
