Our client in Johns Creek, GA is seeking Senior Java Programmer for an exciting opportunity. As a Senior Java Programmer you will be responsible for maintaining a large scale perspective in supporting customer area(s) seeking solutions that optimally support the enterprise.

REQUIREMENT:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, related educational experience, or related professional experience.
- Must have diverse experience utilizing Java tools in business, Web and Client Server environments including Java Platform, J2EE, JDBC technologies.
- 5+ years' experience using Hibernate and understanding ORM.
- 5+ years' experience using SVN, JBOSS, DB2, and Oracle
- 5+ years' experience with using Spring MVC frameworks, Eclipse, Java, JPA, JSON and Java Services
- Experience using various design patterns preferably MVC, Singleton, Facade and Factory
- Proficient in OOD and Implementation, Design Patterns
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Problem solver with attention to detail

DUTIES:

- Designs systems/applications with a high level of complexity (eg many interfaces, services, multiple packages, platforms).
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills and able to handle multiple assignments.
- Acts as a technology mentor to team members.
- Evaluates leading-edge technologies and uses this information to influence future business strategies

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Experience with waterfall, Agile and Lean development practices
- Experience or exposure to Database Design and Implementation
- Knowledge of Multi-tier Architecture, Rational/Visio modelling
- Experienced with UML, JUnit, Unix Scripting, TIBCO products and CRM clienteling software will be a plus.
