Senior Java Engineer - Online & Mobile Banking (4074/4075)

For a 6 month project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

SENIOR JAVA ENGINEER - ONLINE & MOBILE BANKING (4074/4075)

We are looking for a strong teamplayer who has the technical know how of Internet facing applications.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven track-record in delivering comprehensive online and mobile solutions in a very complex environment
- EXPERIENCE IN MULTI-TIER JAVA APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT
- KNOWLEDGE OF JAVA, J2E, STRUTS, HTML, XML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT
- Experience with mobile technologies iOS and Android, as well as developing mobile applications are a plus
- Experience with a online banking platform and the Java application platform are a big advantage
- Strong and accurate analytical and communication skills
- Self-motivated and initiative personality with a can do attitude and the ability to learn quickly
- Experience in Online and Mobile Banking is definitely a plus
- Certifications like PMP, IPMA as well as SAFe Agilist are a plus
- Very good English language skills, preference will be given to candidates who are also fluent in German

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Technical lead for agile squads developing components of the Online & Mobile Banking in the SAFe agile methodology
- Responsibility to analyze, design and develop applications and components including cost estimations
- Accountability to develop comprehensive solutions and create proof-of-concepts
- Coordination with the business delivery and experience management, Back End services as well as HTML designer
- Responsibility for code reviews, defect analysis and impact analysis
- Accountability for the support and coordination of load & performance testing as well as security testing
- Opportunity to work on very innovative products and collaborate within a highly motivated team of specialists
- Evaluating requests from various Business Areas and Initiatives within the Bank
- Ensuring that requests are fully understood and prioritized according to the business value in collaboration with the Product Management and System Architect such as these requests can be committed in product increments
- Identification and management of dependencies between the squads but also externally towards Back End systems or capabilities used by other "Ecosystems"
