Senior Java Engineer Job

SR. JAVA ENGINEER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in MILWAUKEE, WI.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Strong OO experience in Core Java
- Strong understanding of concurrency and Multithreading
- Strong background with Java APIs for TCP/IP UDP

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Drive design and implementation with minimal guidance
- Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business
- Be part of an Agile scrum team, leverage DFR for software, Agile and Lean software development methodologies to drive reliability upstream into the product development life cycle

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Strong OO experience in core Java (JSE).
- Good understanding of concurrency. Experience in Multithreading.
- Strong experience with Java APIs for TCP/IP UDP
- Experience with XML parsers.
- Familiar with Linux tools for networking (tcpdump) and USB sniffing.
- Prior Experience writing tools & test frameworks
- Good Design experience in writing test tools with Java UI.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong Experience with Swing and RXTX (serial) helpful. Java.io.* experience.
