Senior Java Engineer/Architect in Lausanne

We are looking for an experienced hands on Java Engineer to architect, design and implement systems on the analytic platform of our client in the banking sector in Lausanne.

YOUR TASKS:

- Coordinating information exchange, understanding business problems, analysing data, and defining system and business process requirements
- Defining functional requirements in collaboration with business analysts and Back End developers and translating them into technical requirements
- Designing, prototyping and iterating on creative concepts to meet the user requirements
- Designing and implementing user authentication and security features
- Creating automated test plans and writing tests
- Providing guidance and knowledge transfer to other team members

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- Strong Experience with core Java, JEE and on JVM tuning
- In-depth knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns and Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with technologies such as Web Services, XML, JSON, HTTP, SSL, TCP/IP, Caching and with messaging systems
- Experience with multi-threaded distributed systems and Legacy application transformation/modernization efforts
- Experience with Data Modeling, relational database, SQL, MySQL and NoSQL
- Familiar with OS X, Linux, Shell Scripts
