Senior Java Engineer

I am currently recruiting for a leading financial institute in the Geneva area. My client is looking for a Senior Java Engineer with project responsibility.

The main focus will be to develop and maintain the architecture of their CRM application.

You will also:
- work close with the technical architect to define the application’s architecture with aware of the applicable standards
- perform the technical analyzes
- establish estimates of the workload
- define, assign and monitor the tasks performed by the technical project team
- code reviews
- develop and update the software components of the CRM system
- coordinate production
- help deliver the functional specifications

Requirements:
- University degree or similar
- min. 8 years experience of Java (J2EE) software development, front- and back-end
- Very good expertise in Java programming tools such as Spring Security, Spring Batch, Spring MVC, JPA, Hibernate, JSP and JMS
- Experience in REST technologies and XML language (XSLT and XSD) as well as associated languages
- Very good knowledge of database management systems – Oracle Vers. 10 or higher, client server tools and Tomcat
- Good knowledge of configuration management and continuous integration
- Experience in the sector of banking or financial institutes would be a strong plus
- Fluency in FRENCH and ENGLISH (written & spoken)
- Only candidates with valid Swiss work permit will be considered

My client is urgently looking for a suitable candidate. Notice periods of good candidates will be accepted, though. For this high-level position my client is willing to pay a very competitive salary package.
