Senior Java Developer with BRMS and Drools Experience

Fortune 500 Organization in Dunwoody GA is seeking Four strong SR. JAVA DEVELOPER to join their team for an 18 month Contract.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MUST HAVE SOLID EXPERIENCE WITH BRMS/DROOLS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS PROJECT

The Sr. Java Developer is responsible for the design, development, support of network Services Application Development, integration components as well as enabling client product offerings. This individual will be required to work closely with cross functional teams within the technology organization, responsible for the development and support of systems in addition to leading and mentoring development resources on the project. A successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Java and web services, design patterns, leadership skills, excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, an ability to quickly learn new technology and strong communications skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Completes all technical development tasks pertaining to applications per approved projects and allocated budgets;
- Interfaces extensively with functional users to confirm the applicability of design alternatives identifies and recommends cost effective options, and address user concerns;
- Interfaces as necessary with all critical integration points to insure that applications are integrating successfully and efficiently with all requested applications;
- Conducts necessary internal quality assurance, system testing, and load testing to ensure that the application is of high quality when released to users for the User Acceptance Testing phase of the project (manage all necessary migration of software code to/from the respective environments - development, quality assurance, training);
- Works closely with end users and corporate sponsors during the User Acceptance Testing phase of the project to insure that any and all necessary changes to the application can be accommodated to meet user requirements while also honoring timeline and budget restrictions;
- Provides detailed deployment documentation to the support group to insure preparedness to deploy new releases into the production environment within the SLA windows
- Designs, implements, and maintains databases with respect to access methods, access time, validation checks, and statistical methods;

QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM:

- MUST HAVE: BRMS/DROOLS EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS PROJECT
- 5+ years of experience of with JBOSS, JAVA, and SQL/relational database.3+ years of experience of with JBOSS BRMS PRODUCT SUITE
- 3+ YEARS OF DESIGN, DEVELOP AND TEST COMPLEX RULES IN DROOLS FUSION AND DROOLS CEP;
- 1+ years of experience with DROOLS GUVNOR to allow for on-the-fly changes to deployed rules
- 3+ years of experience architect and implement a highly-scalable (vertical and horizontal), performance efficient JBOSS+BRMS solution stack
- 3+ years of IT process framework and practices (for example, ITIL).
- Knowledgeable in JBOSS FUSE Middleware integration technologies (Apache Camel, JMS, Kafka)
- Knowledgeable in JAVA RESTFUL web services for north-bound integration
- Knowledgeable in technologies like SERVER SIDE JAVA PROGRAMMING, JVM Performance tuning, Web Services, XML, JUnit, SQL, Linux Scripting
