Senior Java Developer w/Strong Presentation Layer Experience

Yoh has a two (2) year contract opportunity for a SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER WITH STRONG PRESENTATION LAYER EXPERIENCE to join our client in Wilmington, DE.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Designing, building and implementing large scale software development projects.
- Expand on loosely defined business requirements to insure proper technical solutions are designed and implemented.
- Play a major part in guiding projects from requirements analysis to deployment.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Seven to ten (7-10) years of experience developing applications.
- Experience with multi-tier system design and implementation.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Java.
- In-depth knowledge of web presentation methods (HTML, XSL, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
- Experience writing unit tests and using unit test mocking frameworks
- Knowledge of enterprise application design patterns.
- Solid interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
- Exceptional problem solving abilities.
- Position requires strong Java technical skills and technical leadership.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Experience working on an agile team or with Scrum is a plus
- Experience with HTML5 is a plus
- Knowledge of automated functional testing tools is a plus
- Experience with Spring Framework and Spring MVC is a plus
