On behalf of our client, a financial Institute here in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with good Scala, Angular JS & Oracle experience. For this 6 month contract position based in Zürich, our client is looking for an English speaking candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Deep full-life cycle experience of project/product life cycle with experience on technical and infrastructure requirements
- Influence the technical choices and solutions of a business critical system
- Leverage new technologies to improve quality and reduce risk - Scala, Git, Vaadin/Angular
- Work within a technically skilled and driven team including a large offshore presence

YOUR SKILLS:

- Over 10 years of Java development experience
- Proven experience with Scala
- Proven experience with Angular JS
- Proven experience with Oracle
- Unix Scripting knowledge
- Extensive experienced working in an Agile environment with good knowledge of the Scrum principles
- Previous banking experience with preference in FX environment (considered a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Fluent in English
