Senior Java Developer Needed - long term Contract

Our client in the South East Cleveland area is looking for a Sr. Java Developer for a 2 year contract.  

NEW INTERFACE SKILL SET:
- Java 6
- Spring (Includes Core Spring and Spring MVC)
- HTML5
- CSS3
- JavaScript
- Experience with a client side Javascript framework (They are using AngularJS, but experience with Ember.js, Backbone.js, or similar framework (even a server side framework such as Node.js) would be extremely beneficial).
- Ajax
- REST web services
- TinyMCE - Javascript HTML WYSIWYG editor
- XML/XPath/XSLT (HTML-to-XML & XML-to-HTML)
- Web Security
- Glassfish
- Git
- Ant
- Eclipse
- Trace/understand large code bases

Our client is in the process of creating a new version of their content management system.  They are switching to a Web based, Java on the server side application.  However, it's not a typical web based application.  This application would be considered a "Single Page Application (SPA)".  This means that a large portion of the application is written in Javascript, so we need someone who understands this well.  The application basically runs in the web browser (using Javascript) and gets it's data from their Java Application Server via REST web service calls.  Therefore, the candidate should also have a good understanding of REST.

WE NEED SOMEONE WITH STRONG JAVASCRIPT, REST SKILLS TO SUPPLEMENT THEIR JAVA SKILLS.  IT\'S NOT ENOUGH FOR TO JUST HAVE RUDIMENTARY JAVASCRIPT KNOWLEDGE (IE USING IT ONLY FOR CLIENT SIDE VALIDATION AND AJAX CALLS), BUT MUST TRULY UNDERSTAND, AND HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH THE LANGUAGE.
