Senior Java Developer (Java, Devops, HTML, CSS)

An exciting contract position has arisen with a large Financial Services client at their international offices in Brussels. We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to develop and support key applications in an Agile/DevOps environment. It is essential that you speak either French or Dutch fluently, as well as English.

The main responsibilities are outlined below;

- Building beautiful and maintainable code from scratch or customising off the shelf software developed by third parties
- Refinement and planning with your team and other involved teams to ensure changes are an integrated part of the total solution
- Use your knowledge of one or more frameworks to build and maintain a target framework
- Write user guides for framework users and provide technical support and advice

Experience required:

- Experience as a Java Developer in an Agile XP environment within the financial/banking sector, including experience with micro services
- Broad knowledge and experience with Java, Spring, OO, REST, SOA, XML/XSD/WSDL, JSON, CSS and HTML5
- Experience with frameworks or tools like Zuul, Kubernetes, GridGain, Springboot, Nginx or Docker
- Knowledge of Front End frameworks like React, Angular, Node and JS
- Fluent French or Dutch, as well as English
