SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER (JAVA 8, SPRING CORE, MAVEN, GIT, SCRUM, JERSEY, REST)
OUR PROPERTY-RELATED CLIENT IS LOOKING FOR 3 SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER'S TO JOIN THEIR MULTI-CULTURAL SCRUM TEAM IN BRUSSELS. YOU WILL WORK CLOSELY WITH THE DELIVERY MANAGER AND ALL OTHER TEAM MEMBERS TO MAKE SURE THEY DELIVER ON TIME WHAT HAS BEEN COMMITTED.
KEY SKILLS:
- At least 7 years experience writing Java enterprise-level applications
- Deep knowledge of Java 8, Spring Core, Maven and Git
- Real experience with Jersey and deep understanding of the RESTful principles
- Spring-rest, Apache CXF or other REST frameworks are a plus
- Deep understanding of testing principles and Junit, Mockito and DbUnit
- Knowledge of SQL is required. Knowledge of Microsoft SQLServer, HSQL and QueryDSL is a plus
- Excellent communication skills. Fluent English is required
- Previous experience with scrum methodology is required
- Strong analytical/architectural skills are required; experience as an architect is a plus
- Willing to learn new technologies, share knowledge and evolve
- Interest in No-SQL databases (Elastic, MongoDB, Elastic) is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES:
AS PART OF A MULTI-CULTURAL SCRUM TEAM MADE OF SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPERS WORKING IN COLLABORATION WITH FRONT END DEVELOPERS AND IN THE FRAMEWORK OF OUR ENTERPRISE BATCH PROCESSES AND BACK END API, YOUR PRIMARY FOCUSES WILL BE TO:
- Evolve and maintain the current solution
- Analyse business requirements, design, code, review and improve the solutions
- Technical analysis on how to improve the business processes
- Define best/optimized architecture and provide recommendations to our developments and infrastructure teams
