A large Banking institution is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their team for an initial six month contract. Working within a dynamic team of like-minded individuals, the successful candidate will be responsible for using their strong core Java skills in the development of high volume transactional software.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Tertiary qualifications highly regarded
- Minimum 5 years core Java programming experience
- Prior experience building trading systems, FX products or similar
- Proven ability dealing with high volume, low latency and multi-threading transactions
- Demonstrated experience in understanding and interpreting complex business requirements in the design and delivery of sophisticated systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
