Senior Java Developer - Financial Services Job

SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER - FINANCIAL SERVICES needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in New York, NY.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Development of MBS Trading, Pricing, Analytics and Risk Management systems utilizing C#/Java/Oracle.
- Development of proprietary ION gateways and components utilizing ION's Java API and Customizations.
- Participate in implementation of automated price quotes, RFQ and Trade Flow STP software
- Work closely with trading desk and Front Office personnel to implement consolidated Position Management, End of Day Pricing, Flash PnL and Risk Management functionality.
- Responsibilities include Business Analysis, Design, Development, Maintenance and Implementation.
- Responsible for the collection, analysis and documentation of a client's business requirements.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Java Programming Experience
- SQL (preferably Oracle)
- Spring Framework/Dependency Injection
- Web Services Technology
- Strong agile development practices, TDD
- Knowledge of MBS products (TBA, Specified Pools, Agency CMO, Non Agency CMO and CMO Derivatives) and Fixed Income products in general.
- Understanding of Trade life cycle and position management.

- Knowledge of ION Trading products/framework - Winfits, ION MMI, ION Java API, ION system admin knowledge, ION Server Side, ION C# OpenMMI component framework

- UNIX/Linux Shell Programming
- Working knowledge of rates/Fixed Income trading platforms (DealerWeb, TradeWeb, Bloomberg, etc)
- Test automation tools
- Knowledge of SVN
