Senior Java Developer - Contract - Investment Bank

The Zurich office for a leading Investment bank is looking to hire 3 strong Java Developers. This is a 6 month rolling contract paying market rate. Previous Investment banking experience is essential. This is a Middle Office team that oversee 30 applications which include core banking systems, operations, output management, and financial control.

As a Java Senior Engineer you will be contributing to the whole life cycle of a set of applications encompassing design and implementation as well as the maintenance and 3rd level support. In addition to hands-on implementation and 3rd level support tasks you will liaise with Business Analysis to contribute to requirements engineering process and respective reviews and work in close cooperation with IT Architecture and IT Security to agree on the design of any major change planned aligned with the solution's strategy and architectural principles.
