Senior Java Developer (AVP Level) Fixed Income/MBS

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a SENIOR JAVA/C# DEVELOPER to join one of our leading clients New York City, New York.

JOB OVERVIEW:

- Our client is seeking a Senior (AVP level) Java/C# developer with five to six (5-6) years of experience with an interest to work in the Fixed Income market.
- This is a great opportunity to leverage technical skills and also interact with traders and quants.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Developing apps used for calculating risk for the MBS (Mortgage Backed Securities) trading desks.
- Providing L2 support.
- Interacting with Traders and Quants.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelors of Science Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent) - with a minor in Finance, Mathematics or Engineering.
- Core Java, C#, Oracle, Shell Scripts, Linux/UNIX knowledge.
- Experience with LISP (especially Clojure), Fixed Income, Git.
- Good communication skills, Self-Starter.
- Front Office development experience.
