SENIOR JAVA DEVELOPER (ANGULAR JS) - BRUSSELS, BELGIUM

LANGUAGES: ENGLISHwith FRENCH and DUTCH

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Deep technical knowledge and practical experience of required technologies
- Being able to introduce work habits like Scrum/Kanban, test-driven development, continuous integration, interface based development etc
- J2SE/J2EE experience and having the spirit of Open Source tools and libraries
- Strong design skills.
- Knowledge of the following technologies:
- Spring Framework
- JPA (with Hibernate as implementation)
- Web Services
- Experience with relational database (Oracle, ...) and O/R mapping
- Java Server Faces
- Spring WebFlow
- Spring modules like Spring Batch & Spring Security
- HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- JUnit
- XML.
- Knowledge and experience in the following is an advantage:
- Experience in applying AOP
- Experience with RichFaces and/or PrimeFaces
- Experience with Maven, SVN and Eclipse
- Experience with message driven Beans (by preference by using Spring JMS)
- XBRL.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK:

- Create or modify critical application systems supporting the business domains
- Support other development teams, from a shared pool of development experts
- Develop generic (technical) components, provide guidelines, maintain software factory, selection and integration of development frameworks, coach developers, review application code
- Develop application components
- Design application components (in close collaboration with team members)
- Analyse and propose solutions for technical problems
- Take on the role of technical lead in a development project responsible also for the technical release management if and when required
- Work together with functional analysts, IT architects and operations
- Coach team members in the used development frameworks and tools, team work habits, principles and guidelines as used in the
